It reminded me of the game show incident some years ago in which a male contestant was introduced to a "secret admirer" who turned out to be a male neighbour. The contestant felt so humiliated that he later murdered the man. I don't know what the answer is here, but maybe it has something to do with teaching our young men that masculinity has more to do with integrity and tolerance than it does with sexual preference.
